About the NDIS
Individuals with significant disabilities can receive support from the NDIS to improve their overall quality of life, spend more time with loved ones, have more autonomy, and have opportunities to learn new skills, find work, or volunteer in their community. The NDIS also connects people with disabilities to community-based services that are available to them.
This includes giving information about the services offered by each state and territory government as well as connections to physicians, community organisations, athletic clubs, support groups, libraries, and educational institutions.
